1.Log in to “my Rakuten Mobile”
2.Open [Contract Plan]
3.Tap [Go to Various Procedures] in the “Other Procedures“ section.
4.Tap on [Cancel] in the “Cancellation Procedure“ section.
5.Review the notes and answer the questionnaire
6.Verify your identity (e.g., with a one-time password)
7.Review the details one last time and complete the cancellation (also check the confirmation email)
Note: If you want to keep your phone number and transfer it to another carrier, you’ll need to complete an MNP transfer (number port-out) procedure instead of simply “cancelling.”

👉In general, you don’t need to return the SIM card. If you dispose of an unused SIM, cut it with scissors, etc., and discard it safely
